Behaviour is the same and very different everywhere, there is not one single trait that you can pin point to anybody or country.
I am wondeing that what you are looking for is more of a cultural habitual traits than behaviour, as an example might be the habit of having a "siesta" very common in Spain but also in Mexico however it is more of a spanish trait than mexican or adopted in Mexico thru the spanish colonization IMHO.

Reason: grammatical error
It's a legitimate and innocous, albeit misguided, question. Spain and Spaniards are as similar to Mexico as Brits are similar to Americans.
There are a lot of similar cultural traits, and unfortunately, we have inherited the Spanish way of life, which excludes a lot of innovation and industrialism, and involves a culture of corruption, strongman governance, and heavy nepotism. For those who want to disprove this, look at the Phillippines, the only Asian country to have been fully colonized by Spain. It shares more similarities with Latin American countries than with their wealthy Asian neighbors. Spain seems to be slowly evolving out of this, but the imprint that it has left in Latin America and the Phillippines is deep and rooted.
Do people behave the same? Not any more than people behave the same all over the world, man.
From the tourist's perspective, absolutely not. A couple things: Tourists NEVER get asked to pay "mordidas" in Spain. In some parts of Mexico, however, I have read that it is almost endemic. Also, I have been all over Spain and I got the impression that people (with exceptions) there were reserved, almost cold. The Mexicans I've met, on the other hand, were very warm, friendly, and approachable. I've heard the same from others who have been to Mexico, with almost no complaints of the opposite. Colombians, Costa Ricans, and Puerto Ricans are the same way in my experience. You might as well compare Mexico to Morocco.
