Hello, I an looking for information on Gaylord or East Jordan areas??? I was raised when I was younger in East Jordan and I moved away when my mom remarried....I am now wanting to move back up there, for two reasons, one is because I can not seem to find a job where I am at now, Cadillac, and the second reason is because my boyfriend is in Gaylord and it is to hard for us both having to drive back and forth to see each other. Most difintely with gas prices the way they are. If someone could help me and with my problem. I am looking to move up there and get a part-time if not full-time job in the area. Thank you so much.

Maellea

Smile Gaylord or East Jordan

The Iron Works, in East Jordan emitts a smell on certain days and its been thought to contribute to health problems. It is a very nice area for outdoor activities. The northern michigan economy isn't great for job seekers right now. In fact most jobs up here are hospitality related, paying a little over minimum wage. Gaylord is a fast growing pleasent community. Winters are harsh and cold, but lots of leisure activities such as skiing to keep busy. Boyne City is a good area, and my choice of city for the north!
