New 2022 BHA rates have just been released.

https://www.defensetravel.dod.mil/site/bahCalc.cfm

There were temporary housing (amounts) increases in summer 2021 due to surging housing costs but now the replacement amounts for 2022 have been published. The link above is for zip code searches. Overall every area saw an increase and some areas increased more than others. No summary was given nor was one area identified as the highest increase. Bozeman, MT apparently had the highest percentage increase in housing prices in 2021.

Thanks for sharing. My BAH is going up by $50 a month, but that's because I'm grandfathered into the higher 2020 rate. The BAH in my area for my rank is going up by $147 a month compared to the 2021 rate.

Looking back at things, every area certainly didn't see an increase as some articles alluded to earlier. For instance, Hawaii County, HI (i.e. the Big Island) saw a roughly 10% decrease for 2022. Good for those people who are grandfathered into the old rates, but sucks for those just coming into the area. I'll be going back to Honolulu next year, and thankfully they aren't going down.
