There isn’t a historical registry type roster of every unit, for every month, for every year. Maybe in combat environments but not for a random unit in the mid ‘70’s. Even more challenging is the unit may have folded and the division moved out of Ft Stewart. The active army is reducing by another 32,000 soldiers in the coming months so even less units will exist.

Facebook has groups for many units. I’m a member of quite a few of these groups since I’ve been stationed in over a dozen places.

I’d be surprised if this unit doesn’t have a group on Facebook, or at the very least, a base group for former soldiers.

With that stated, I wouldn’t give out a roster to some random person who asked for it. I’d have to know who you were first, and then I’d make you prove you really are that person and were assigned there.

It’s extremely hard to fake being a part of a unit, especially to guys who were there.

Thanks for the feedback. Actually it's the 24th Inf Div. I was TDY teaching demo, and knew some guys that were from where I live now. Been 50 yrs, but thought I might look them up.

Try the "USA Military Directory" (pretty sure that's the name) facebook group. They can find anybody.
