I started out as AZ NG, Army boot camp at Ft. Polk LA in May 1962.

Then went to USN and boot camp at San Diego CA Oct 1964, retired Mar 1984.

Dec 1989-Jan 1990 in Great Lakes. Still have awful memories of being on "snow watch" at 2am so we could shovel the stupid 1/2" that fell.

I think we ran a total of 3 times because it was so cold.
