Hello,

My friends and I recently went to Bar Louie. It was really nice. Now, we are looking for another after work "Happy Hour" place to go to for food and drinks. Any ideas?

Thank you.

I live on the southwest side. The Brewtown Eatery Bar and Grill on S. 51st Street and W. Howard Avenue is a favorite of mine. I recently finally tried out Uncle Paulie's Brick Oven Pizzeria on S. 76th Street and W. Forest Home Avenue. So there's my 2 cents on 2 recommendations Master Jay

My favorite spot is Devon Seafood and Steak. Awesome happy hour drinks and happy hour menu!

South of downtown, I really like Boone and Crockett. The Happy Hour drinks are great and inexpensive, and there's a taco truck (well, selling "upscale" tacos) on premises to provide food.

Harbor House has a lively atmosphere, and good Happy Hour drinks and eats. There's a special on Blue Point Oysters during Happy Hour, too.

Harry's on Oakland (in Shorewood) has a decent Happy Hour. The food is not the best, imo, but it's good enough.

I haven't been to the Hi Hat (on Brady) in a while, but I remember it has good Happy Hour drinks and food.
