We’re 44 games into the season. I thought a comparison with past Twins teams would be fun:
Current record —————-—Final Result
2019 team = 29-15

1987 team = 22-22 ..... 85-77 (won WS)
1991 team = 20-24 ..... 94-68 (won WS)

Nice catch. Interesting comparison. The 1991 Twins went 74-44 from this point on? Talk about being on fire.

Not to be overly negative in the midst of this great run, but I see Sano already has 4 k's in 2 games, including 3 last night. His strikeout rate is just too extreme and he's going to become a liability and start dragging the team down quick if he can't find a remedy for that. With all the hitters they have now there can't be too large of a window to watch this guy continue to try and figure it out. I personally think he is what he is.....an all or nothing hitter who is always gonna K way too much.

Other than that, they are killing it. Got a 12 pack of Carlsberg in the man cave fridge ready to go for tonight. First game I've been able to watch in a while due to work.

Yeah I have hardly been able to watch them at all. From site to site for work, I will have the radio on, but otherwise I can't watch them on my shift.

That's what I do.....radio. I work in an x ray suite with lead walls, so I have the At Bat app on my phone and I listen to the WCCO broadcast through that. I actually love listening to baseball on the radio and always have, so it's all good, although I do wish I could watch a few more tv games than I'm currently able to. The radio crew is better than the tv guys to listen to anyway, although I have really enjoyed hearing Jim Kaat do some games again of late. He's a professional broadcaster and head and shoulders above any of the other tv analysts the Twins employ. Morneau has been surprisingly good, he just needs to work on his projection and delivery.

Morneau is a bit robotic, which I contribute to nervousness at doing something new that he never was trained for. He's got a lot to contribute and I love his insights. He'll get more comfortable in time.

Jeeze the Twins are just gouging them out. The whole lineup is hitting dongs now - Bux with a granny tonight. Cron with 2, Sano with one...and it's just the 3rd inning.

Murderers Row!

What is up with Berrios? A 15 run lead and he can't get through 5 to qualify for the win??? This guy is supposed to be their ace!
