Fast Forward to 2023: Is Holly Springs still a pretty nice, quiet place to live? I have a buddy moving to the Memphis area, but I think he would like to live out in a more rural area with some elbow room, low traffic and lower housing costs. He has no issues with the commute, he did a 40-mile daily commute in Alaska, so...... I understand shopping options are a bit limited, but also....not really a big deal.

I've driven through Holly Springs several things and even went to a recruitment event at the college once (15 years or so ago). It impressed me as a town without much going on. I doubt there's much crime other than property crime and you can easily protect yourself from that. There's plenty of rural area for him with reasonably priced housing. Hernando may be too happening for him, but it's one of my favorite towns.
