Why have a fighter pad their record against weaker opposition?
I do agree that MMA fighters deserve to be paid better.

then Khabib is proving himself that it's possible to be undefeated in MMA. I want to see him reach at least 30 fights undefeated. GSP could have been undefeated since he won all of his few rematches for the few fights he lost. I think it's better when fighters start building their record so maybe after 20 fights they should then compete for the belt. Boxers fight more. The reason why you have fighters like Chris Weidman and Ronda Rousey who became champions with only a few fights is because they fought the best with only a few wins and won but since they were inexperienced they eventually lost. You can't always just fight the best, you have to build your record first, work your way up, that's why boxers are great at what they do, they mastered what they do, but Dana is about making fast money so he puts fighters who aren't ready to fight in championship fights too early in their career.
