Who is yours? Have you had to file a claim?

We are under contract to buy a house and are currently renting.

I'm not shopping cheapest price. I'm trying to find the best overall deal with decent coverage. And a company that also pays their claims. On nerdwallet under reviews you have lots of people complaining about ALL the insurance company's.

We will bundle car insurance as well.

So far I have quotes from AAA, Farmers insurance and Safeco. I have not heard back from Cascade farmers mutual yet.

The last one is supposed to have a platinum policy for $5 extra a month that includes sewer to the street and some other utility lines. They are not as big of a company though. Not sure if that includes if a tree root got to the sewer line.

We had The Hartford for many years with no problems, but then they quit doing business in Montana. At least, that's what the letter said when they cancelled our policies.
Then we got Safeco, and saved some money. Of course, all vehicles and the house are covered. So far, no problems.

Adam at Brunswick Companies is really good, 330-865-4202. He's a broker and will shop somewhere between 10-15 markets for you. I'd reach out for another opinion!

We use farm bureau for policy which covers the ranch, vehicles, houses, buildings, equipment, & an umbrella liability. Never a problem with a claim, ever. They've had our insurance for about 12 years.
