I am looking for things on the funky and jazzy side of the road, not really looking for Phish or bands with 12 minute guitar solos please (unless it is like Mahavishnu Orchestra or Porcupine Tree).

Bands I like in this thread would include Incognito, Brand New Heavies, Stanton Moore, Garage A Trois, Charlie Hunter, Kneebody, . Plus electronic that may not fit in the House, DNB or Chill threads.
