I swear when I heard the chorus, I thought the singer was singing "your chest keeps getting better," but no, the words are "it just keeps getting better." I blame it on the mangled country singing accent the singer is using.
So what are some of your favorite misheard lyrics?
Anything by Elton John -- I really can't figure out what he's singing about in most of his classics.
An old morning show in Philly used to do an annual "Misconstrued Lyrics" program, where listeners would all send in their favorites -- it was pretty funny!

This is embarassing to admit, but I had a hard time with the main lyrics of Goo Goo Dolls "I'll Be Your Crying Shoulder." Obviously I didn't even know the title of the song, because I thought they were singing "I'll be your crying soul-digger." I swear that's how they pronounce it!
Iknow so many people back then who thought Johnny Rivers was singing "Secret Asian Man". I felt like I was the only one who knew about the series: "Secret Agent". However, it DOES sound like "Asian".
I always thought she was singing Legacy, you know, like the car...
