So it looks like mask wearing on the Path is down to 50% compliance. Wonder why they still have the "rule" in effect. They do not even make the announcements anymore (the one where is sound like Christopher Robbin from Winnie the Pooh speaking)

They want to show who the Biden voters are.

Do muggers wear masks?

If so, mask mandates are intended to not offend masked muggers, who choose to disguise their identity.

Used to be if you wore a mask and went into a place of business, the intent was robbery.

Has PATH ever actually enforced the mask mandate?

cases are going up as are hospitalization. will NJ do a mask mandate again? will capacity limits be put back into effect? public health equals economic health after all.

The CDC already made the admission of misinformation to the public that cloth masks do not effectively prevent the spread.

Correct. Also, hospitalizations are nowhere near the levels from last Fall. The new strains of COVID are the same thing as a summer cold. An ER Dr. In NYC even posted the same info on the NYC forum recently. I do not wear a mask anywhere anymore, including the PATH. No one says anything. Time to move on!

Technically, economic health leads to good public health because you need money to pay for good health care. I always laughed at that saying because it is backwards!

Yeah, but sick people can’t work, and dead people can’t buy stuff.

You don't shut EVERYTHING down just because a few people are sick. (This leads to much greater problems than COVID ever could create as we all saw). COVID simply isn't dangerous anymore. It has weakened into a cold.

Yeah i don’t get how public health equals economic health - if that were the case we wouldn’t now be in a recession coming out of COVID. With the lower numbers and the less serious strains, if that saying were true we’d be in amazing shape right now.
