We heard and felt it here. Sounded like a building collapsed nearby, very distinctly. My house didn’t shake but people near me are posting theirs did.

I know, crazy. Based on the ring neighbors app, it looks like it came over Staten Island, then Woodbridge/Edison/Perth Amboy/Sayreville, before heading southwest. Lots of reports came up from my area. My friend said he heard it in Brick!
I don't know why but I cracked a smile when I saw the Evidence/Property form and under "Offense" it said very matter of fact "Meteroite/ Prop Damage." Begs the question if their homeowner's policy is going to cover that.
