I ended up not and am going to Spain instead because its literally cheaper (I come from an airline family too, so that takes care of the airfare).

Ultimately, I am looking too late. Next year for sure. Unlike Cape Cod which is seeing a lot of open bookings because of high prices (Like 20k a week for a cottage), there are great last minute deals. Wasn't the case in NJ lol.
