The Germans got lucky, escaping transit with only a verbal assault, just to prep them for the inevitable robbery and mugging if they continue their journey to the fabled Big Apple region. They come away with stories to tell the folks back home.
I had an incident of a similar drunk Karen tried to come after me on the NJ transit and her husband pulled her away.
I was sitting on a large bench when this Karen and her husband clearly drank a lot of alcohol wanted to squeeze through. I tried to get up to let them through and she just pushed herself through and I bumped her knees. Then while sitting down she looked at me probably expecting me to apologize but didn't get any. I stood up and moved out to another seat across. Then she stood up and said "Who do you think you are?" I looked over and then at her husband. He pulled her back and I sat back down.
Well I for one found the story interesting. The 1st link in the OP didn't really show much, the 2nd one is what cost her her job and I'm always happy to read when that happens. Good luck getting another one you xenophobic moron.
It's funny because the tourists are white. If they were tourists from China or Nigeria, Joe Biden would be giving an Oval Office address to the nation right now, about how evil white Americans are.

Xenophobia is rampant in some segments of the population, and being "foreign"--regardless of race or ethnicity--is likely to trigger people like that. Then, if you add in a goodly dose of alcohol, any possible filters are erased, and this is the type of incident that can take place.
