Probably by train or bus. You could drive, but Rt3 is always a mess. Good town, lots of friends reside there.. nice downtown area too along Rt23.

This is not a train town, doesn't have its own train station. Upper Montclair stations are nearby but that involves driving locally congested roads and paying non resident parking. Unless the station is within biking distance...

There is probably a NJT bus that stops in town.

Biking would get old fast, Cedar Grove and Montclair are separated by First Mountain.

It's a section of a town (Little Falls), not an incorporated town in its own right. It's like there's a Plauderville stop on the Bergen County line, but Plauderville is actually a neighborhood in Garfield.

Lots of places like that all around NJ, little towns and villages that were absorbed by another town but are still referred to by their original names, especially if there was a train station there. I grew up in section of Midland Park, a town of only 1.3 square miles, that was called Wortendyke. That was the name of the train stop eons ago, but that little piece of MP is still known by that name.

Funny how most of the names are either Dutch or Indian. Yes I know why.

Yea like a Radburn or a Short Hills. I’m familiar with the concept, just never heard of that particular one. And I used to frequent that area pretty regularly so I’m surprised I never heard of it.

I only know it because I have passed the sign thousands of times. Almost 50 years. Depending upon where a person lived in Cedar Grove this train in Singas would be closer than going to Montclair.
