Another big government, big union guy. He was #2 in the state and lost reelection to an unknown truck driver with a literal $75 campaign budget that went to coffee and donuts.
I would like to see him as the nominee. I trust him with the states finances, which is by far the most important thing in NJ.
I was surprised to see Josh Gottenheimer is rumored to be getting in the race as well. He is my congressman and I think in general he is level headed and moderate. He would likely be a good governor as well.

The potential slate of D nominees includes Sweeney, Gottheimer, and Mikie Sherrill. The most likely R candidate is State Senator Jon Bramnick. I could see myself voting for any of these candidates, as I don't allow party labels to enter into how I cast my vote, and their stated platforms will determine which candidate I ultimately choose.
Bill Spadea and Jack Ciatterlli are both likely to run, and will be the R frontrunners. Steve Fulop the mayor from Jersey City has amassed an insanely large $6.5M from a superpac and just a few big pocket donors. Both Corzine and Murphy effectively were able to buy the Governorship, so my bet is on Fulop being the guy as he is following the same strategy.

And, if he does manage to win the R Primary, then his D opponent will also broadcast video--non-stop--of Jack Chit at a Stop The Steal Rally, adjacent to Confederate flags and other indications of rampant radicalism at that rally.

Just FYI, The article is there but the video has been removed.

You are joking about Sweeney, right?
Trust him with the state finances, is a nebulous statement, allows for a subjective application of funds not precluding waste, fraud, inefficiency, and graft.
Sweeney would be the last person on a long list of choices for NJ gov.
NJ politics is already inbred and suffering resultant economic anomalies. NJ voters are the breeders of such poor poll choice pairings and somehow revel in the economic hell of the democrat party DNA they keep passing down.
Let's ensure our first place on lists of worst places to live, and elect another democrat of dubious accomplishment.
Where is all the diversity in NJ the Left so adores, does this not include political diversity?
