Good. We cannot accept anymore migrant birds from Chile and Argentina, they’re a burden on American taxpayers

Really, there are no Turbines anywhere? If they aren't built yet how were they killing all the fish you kept telling us about? Asking for a friend.

Wind and solar are pipedreams that some refuse to give up on and that's because Big Green has sunken their claws (and money) into so much of our energy policy that it drowns out logic and rationality.
Nuclear and clean natural gas are the only answers (the only two in use now), not to mention its significantly more economical and environmentally friendly for the state. If you read Murphys 2050 energy plan, the entire agenda of wind power is create a monolithic state run power source. If you read through the ~800 page document the entire purpose is create individual victims and winners through "environmental justice". Depending on your income, race, age, neighborhood you can be punished, the ultimate plan is to move people out of single family homes in high density housing, there is even a plan to make electric cars unaffordable that you will be forced onto a state run public transportation system. Pretty scary stuff.

Well said. Any discussion of climate change, Net Zero, or the green transition is not serious unless nuclear power is part of the solution. Solar, wind turbines, and especially ocean turbines are not going to produce enough reliable energy to make a difference. It's just a bunch of hype. Bad return on investment.

They are massive killers of birds on land and at sea.

The turbines will be sited inside the Atlantic Flyway, the migratory corridor for millions of songbirds, seabirds and raptors. The birds will have to fly through the spinning blades twice per year.

As an example, here is the migratory path of the endangered pipping plover relative to the wind farms. They birds will be flying right through them.

Chop, chop.

And you are right. It doesn't matter to the wind developers or the politicians. They don't care.

Wonderful, and us energy users in NJ get to subsidize these projects. Thanks Murf

Legal eagle kill was upped for windmills in 2013 by the obama/biden admin.

Then came all the dead whales, save the bears, kill the eagles. Build million dollar condos on the beach, smother the surburban areas with ill placed low income housing, RR extension to nowhere in North J, murphy has an abysmal environmental record when it comes to open space and endangered animals and super concentrated construction with impervious surface galore.

Windmills are a niche novelty, not for the masses.

NJ, a one party state, suffers from lack of political diversity and foresight so blunted as to be totally absent. Consequences, fantasy cost estimates be dammed, full speed ahead. Follow the money!

I never saw that.

I did see this.

https://pubs.usgs.gov/publication/70...0electrocution.

Trauma and poisonings (including lead poisoning) were the leading causes of death for bald eagles throughout the study period, and a greater proportion of bald eagles versus golden eagles were diagnosed as poisoned. For golden eagles, the major causes of mortality were trauma and electrocution.

And this...................

Two men charged after 'killing spree' of 3,600 birds, including bald eagles, prosecutors say

According to publications there are billions of birds killed every year by various sources, yet there are still more than enough to crap on my car every time it's washed.
