Besides Harmon Cove, Avalon Rutherford Station, and Liberty Terrace?
I am trying to find some places similar to these but a couple hundred cheaper per month. The Secaucus, Rutherford, East Rutherford, and Lyndhurst areas are the location I am looking at. Everything I look at is old 2 family houses and I want to get away from that style of living.
Try looking on craigslist...you'll be surprised but what you find there...not every apt complex advertises everywhere so you don't know about it otherwise. Avalon and Harmon Cove are way expensive. I lived in Avalon Lyndhurst for 2 yrs and wow...the windows are so thin in that place that heat, cold and sound get thru like it was just a screen. You'd think for a luxury place it'd have more quality items. Good luck

Thanks for the information regarding the Avalon in Lyndhurst. I've looked on Craigslist quite a few times but most listings seem to be multi-family housing, which is something I'd like to not do anymore. Still looking at all options, however. Any other recommendations or feedback would be appreciated.
I owned a unit in the townhouse portion of Harmon Cove years ago, and they are built like absolute RUBBISH. Floors and walls are paper-thin, and you WILL hear noise from your neighbor, no matter how quiet they are (especially if you have someone over you, in which case they likely installed tile in the kitchen, so noises telegraph neatly into your unit as if you were there!).
The association was terrible, and did little to spruce up the place, despite hauling in TONS of money in monthly fees.

Thanks for the info about Harmon Cove. I've heard similar opinions on this place, so I will definitely pass. Are there any other rental communities around Secaucus that you can recommend?
