Hey everyone!

I wanted to open this thread for all who applied to the most recent Cadman Towers lottery. Mitchell Lama Connect shows "Tenant Selection in Progress."

Have any of you received a letter or log yet? Let's all stay in touch here.

Addendum on Cadman.
Friends recently bought into 75 Henry St. for $1.3 million. Beautiful 2.5 bedroom apartment with killer views all 'round.

I mentioned that the original owner of the Mitchell-Lama coop must have made out very well. They were HORRIFIED that I had impugned their home by calling it "former Mitchell Lama," but they eventually found out I was correct.
I hope I haven't made them think less of their new home.

I was dating a guy or two in Brooklyn Heights while they were building the Cadman complex. It made a mess of traffic for years.

I was too stupid at the time to know what Mitchell Lama was so I never applied. Also, working in Jersey City would have made for the worst commute since the invention of the automobile.

Of possible interest, shadypines:

Well, they were delirious that they sold their 4th floor walk-up also in Brooklyn Heights for $975K after one of them having bought it in 1973 for $17K. They are both considerably older than I and found a 4 story walk-up untenable.

THey own a couple homes on Fire Island Pines so they are not wanting for money.

I don't see the other Cadman Towers thread, so I'm bumping this one up.

Please let me know if I've overlooked it.

My daughter (and her fiancé) and me (and my husband) made it on to the list! I'm in shock because I haven't been lucky at all with these M-L lotteries.

I just called Cadman to check in, and was told they’re working on the last 5 numbers from the old lottery. Is there another Cadman Towers forum, or is this the only one? Thanks!
