Two dead 5 year old twins - weird story (Hope: medical, metro)

Something is giving me really weird vibes with this story

I'm not saying I think the mother had anything to do with the kids getting sick and dying but why didn't she take them to the hospital? On the one hand the neighbors say she was a doting mother hardly letting the kids out of her sight

But on the other hand her kids are extremely ill and she doesn't get them medical care? Doesn't add up

Doubt it was from rice and beans. Probably got poisoned by something for both to get sick.
