Also, this has to be with the blessing of Adams.

This isn’t just for this incident. They know they’re getting unpopular. They also realize if Trump wins, NYC will become an even bigger **** show.

This move is more so to shut future detractors up.

“FDNY Commissioner Laura Kavanagh is hunting down smoke-eaters and other staffers who mercilessly booed New York Attorney General Letitia James – and cheered in support of Donald Trump – during a department promotion ceremony this week, The Post has learned.

FDNY Chief of Department John Hodges fired off an email to other agency honchos warning a reckoning led by the department’s Bureau of Investigation and Trials was coming over the chorus of boos and chants of “Trump” that James received at Thursday’s event.

“BITS is investigating this, so they will figure out who the members are,” Hodges wrote FDNY chiefs Saturday in the letter obtained by The Post.”

“The [deputy chiefs] shall direct the captain of the company to make a list of those who come forward and send it directly to [FDNY operations]. I realize members might not come forward but they should know that there is clear video of the entire incident and they will be contacted by BITS if they don’t,” he wrote.”

First amendment ? Is it only fdny members ? What about their families who were present ?
This is disgusting. These people have every right to voice their opinion. They did not hurl racist remarks, they didn't threaten this woman, they didn't assault this woman. They just voiced their displeasure with her. Kavanagh is another worthless POS just like James.

Wow, they are now hunting down people for just booing and jeering? What happened to “we are a free country” and freedom of speech? The Left constantly calls Trump a fascist and a threat to democracy but they are the ones practicing all the fascism and there’s hardly any outcry from the media or the people.

Wrong time wrong place for it. This was at an FDNY promotion ceremony. They could have let their colleagues get recognized for their hard work without the distractions. I don't have a problem with the booing, but a promotion ceremony wasn't the right place for it.

That’s not up to a politician to decide. Either she doesn’t show up to events or she takes it as part of the job.

However, she can’t help herself because this is who she is. This is the culture she ascribes to. Bill de Blasio was the mayor and got heckled and booed incessantly. Bloomberg went through this as well. Neither even hinted at retaliation.

People wonder why this city is incompetently run. These people aren’t interest in the competent administration of this city. Welcome to chocolate city.

I told you so. This could be seen from a mile away.

The smart thing to do is not invite a controversial figure to the ceremony.

That’s the entire point. It’s hood culture. They’re petty tyrants who think they’re the cats meow. They want to show up, rub it in your face and if you act out, you get made an example of. Why? Because you can’t disrespect them. These are the same people who would shoot you for looking at them wrong because they see it as *disrespecting * them. This is like 90% of hood violence. They just happen to be government officials.

So violating their constitutional rights is ok with you ? They were not working according to the story.

The family members also did it. Would you want them punished as well?

Hopefully she doesn’t “get them” for even saying his name. She might be suing them next.

Why was an AG even speaking at a FDNY ceremony? She has nothing at all to do with the profession.

Then again why was the ceremony held at a church? Who did the city pay to hold the ceremony?

Ths suit and massive reward is out of line with reality. Trump paid his loans back so no one was damaged. NYC acts Ike this is free money to them. It’s not, you will pay for this many times over.
