I'm mostly worried about being assaulted on the subway. I had two encounters this year that left me shaken and I actively avoid the subway if I can. I will walk most places or even take the slow as heck buses if I can.

Lol, step gingerly, not crawl. I wouldnt walk on ice like I would on regular pavement.
