Anyone know anything about 2007 or 2008 Altimas? Hybrids? They seem like nice cars but I don't know anyone who has one. Thanks

They are indeed very nice. The altima offers alot and is competing with the Honda Accord. I know the altimas are ranked pretty high compared to other hyvbrids.

Yes that is your opinion, but remember who produced the motor that was voted #1 ten years in row! Nissan did and it was the VG30E or D. That was Nissan's 3.0 V6 equipped in the Maximas, I've owned 3 Nissans in the last 2 yrs. I love my Nissans. I've never had anything major go wrong with them.

I would check out the Altima!

Altima hybrids are only sold in 8 states (California, Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont) and if you take it to a dealer outside one of those states you can expect delays in servicing since those dealers don't carry parts and have to order them.

The Altima
borrows Toyota's gasoline-electric hybrid system so the reliability is high.

Can't say re: Altimas, but we've had a Stanza and two Maximas. Fantastic cars. Would have another Nissan except the sales person blew us off. We keep them for at least 12 years.

Sorry Nissan, you lost a long-time client with that screw up.

I do recommend the brand.
