I'm sorry, I don't understand your question.

I'll second the clinic in Springfield. They have several specialists; my dog saw their neurosurgeon and the vet oncologist, who specializes in radiation. These were for separate issues.

I believe South Paws also has a vet oncology practice. South Paws might be closer. They also have the BEST acupuncturist in the state. I mention this because acupuncture might provide some comfort and relief for your kitty.

So sorry for what you're going through. Sending you best wishes.

I take my 4 cats to Banfield Pet Hospital in Stafford. It's not super close but the care they receive and the wellness plans they offer make it worth the trip.

Vets in Mclean are top notch. Generally show a lot of love towards cats.

Do you have a recommendation for medical expertise?

Unfortunately - I've dealt with several human oncologists in the past 5 years. They prove to be the most kind and empathetic docs around. Should be the same for animals.

Expertise for what? Animal? Human? Not sure what you're looking for?

Several years ago I took my dog to Hope Center in Vienna...
They treated him (and me) with kindness.

We have taken our dog to South Paws in Fairfax and I was really impressed. The doctor sat down on the floor with our dog and gave him so much attention. They are really nice there and the presented several options.
