This agency finds that the claimant was discharged with just cause, per Ohio Revised Code Section
4141.29(D)(2)(a). The claimant was discharged by ADAMS COUNTY HOSPITAL on 04/27/2020 for not
being able to perform the required work. Therefore, no benefits will be paid until the claimant obtains
employment subject to an unemployment compensation law, works six weeks, earns wages of $1614, and
is otherwise eligible.

I have appealed this I had been employed 10 yrs no write ups no complaints the CEO had it out for me because he did not like me so they made up a reason to fire me " I ask maintenance to hang a file folder for me I was told I did not follow the chain of command and I capitalized a YOU in a email and I was fired I filed for unemployment and finally received this ?

It means that they found that there was sufficient reason to fire you for not be able to do your job.

I suggest that you re-post this in the "Unemployment" forum -- there are a few people there who know their stuff.

You can look this up yourself. You were fired for "just cause", not because the company downsized, faced some financial trouble, a pandemic, etc. Some definitions of "just cause":

http://www.duhaime.org/LegalDictionary/J/JustCause.aspx

According to the OH handbook losing this job for this reason most likely makes you ineligible for unemployment compensation. If you get another paying job earning more than a stated minimal amount, and hold it for a specific amount of time, you could become eligible again in future. Basically, your eligibility for unemployment compensation from OH starts over again once you get another job.

Suspect there was a lot more to it than merely capitalizing Y-O-U in an email. Suggests that you were being rude to the recipient of that email and there were incidents when you didn't follow company policy. Insubordination, misconduct on top of consistently poor performance?

Basically you can obtain unemployment for being laid-off (lack of business by your employer) but not after being fired and usually not if you voluntarily quit.
