Getting car oil sprayed for winter (car wash, place, winters)

I bought my car in the South and prior to last year, it had no rust. After 2 winters here it's starting to show some surface rust on the frame, nothing on the body yet. During the winter I go to the car wash 4 times a week and get it thoroughly washed including the undercarriage. This year I want to have it sprayed underneath. I found a place that has a very good reputation and isn't expensive. It's sprayed oil, not fancy coatings. I've done alot of research and this is the method I want. My question is after having it sprayed, should I still be getting the undercarriage washed during the winter?

You might want to ask this in the automotive forum. I suspect there will be multiple opinions, though, about the oil spray, and the wash.

I've never heard of an oil spray. Seems like something that could get washed off, if you're getting the undercarriage washed so often. Or, if it's anything like undercoating, it might actually make things worse; now that rust has already started, this oil spray might seal in the rust, moisture, and contaminants.

But again, there are posters in the automotive forum who will have much more informed opinions than mine.
