Can anyone explain property taxes in Oklahoma? (Oklahoma City, Yukon: mobile home, exemption)

I bought a mobile home in Yukon, OK address, which is actually in Canadian County and the real city is actually Oklahoma City if any of this makes any sense?

My question is about property taxes. I notice most people get a $1000 exemption. My home is valued at $25,000 with the land. It shows the home on the property taxes being $10,000 of value and the land $15,000. I paid for a tag on the mobile home at the tag office. I forget what that cost, but isn't that the tax for the mobile home? Do I need the tag again this year? I have read all the information about real property versus ad valorem tax and I don't understand how this all works. I believe I am being overcharged $100 or so because I didn't do something right. The previous owner only $170 a year and I am being charged $320, but they had this exemption for $1000 on their tax bill.

Unless I am mistaken the 1,000 is Home Stead Exemption. If you have not filed for it contact Canadian County Tax Assessor's Office in El Reno. The ladies will walk you through the process.
