There is just one that goes from the northeast edge of OKC to the western edge. Basically connecting I-35 to I-40 bypassing the urban core. There are a couple of other ways to get to the same place via interstate. I never use the turnpike unless it's during rush hour. It's not worth the toll charge.

It saves us 15 minutes and lots of traffic to get to the OKC Gun Club.

There is no doubt that the turnpike is faster during peak traffic times. But at other times it really isn't that much faster. And if you don't have a pike pass and correct change.

Soon to be open is the East OK County toll road. I think (really), they are going to call it the Kickapoo Toll Road. It will go from I44 down to I40 in east OK County.
