I've lived in the country in Montana, in the middle of Denver, and St Louis. Now Omaha. Every place has its pros and cons.

I just don't understand the people who have to bash other places, cities, states, and people.

I really like Omaha. And frankly, I cannot imagine how ANYBODY could be bored ANYWHERE, unless you're a boring and lazy person. The world is full of fascinating things, and people, waiting to be discovered. Omaha is no different. All a person has to do, is go do it.

I first moved to Omaha in 1968 and left in January 1973 because I was a bored, young single guy who didn't know how good he had it there. Well, some family dynamics played a part, too.

What I've mostly learned since then is how easy it it to make things worse when you're searching for better. Omaha is a gem, but it took me many years and multiple cross-country moves to fully understand that.
