Laguna Beach, San Clemente, and then Newport Beach.

I'd say Newport Beach & Laguna Beach. I haven't been in Laguna Niguel or San Celemente much to really know.

I like NB the best. I like the spaciousness of NB's streets. Laguna's a little cramped (like Pasadena).

When you're in Laguna Beach, it looks like you're in Hawaii.

Actually I think Laguna Beach more closely resembles Carmel by the Sea and Nice, France.

If so, it's not a city, along with several others on the list that are not cities...

But maybe I'm misunderstanding!
True, Coto is NOT a "city."

They're much to exclusive for that...

I live less than a mile from Coto de Caza, and I have to say, the two families I have known well who lived there were extremely down to earth, natural and friendly, not snobbish at all.
