Are their a alot of minorities in Irvine? Percentages are posted on city-data, but usually different websites give different percentages. Does anyone know (even if you don't live there)?

It's California dude, big mix of poeople. Irvine is a big city with all sorts of people.

There are lots of Asian people who live in Irvine.

It's a nice city to live in, very safe.

Yes, it's true that the largest minority group living in Irvine is Asian-Americans (I worked in Irvine and have a good friend who lives and works there). I agree that it's a very nice, safe city. If I could afford it, I wouldn't mind living there myself.
