I took a mini-vacation today and enjoyed fall colors in central Oregon. This lake blew me away with its beauty. I'm not gonna say the name on a public forum since its not as widely known. But you can message me if you want to know more.

Derek,

I really appreciate the photos. It looks like a place I could not negotiate with my gimp leg. Fortunately, there are also a lot of beautiful accessible locations. I do things like boat tours very occasionally and little road trips and stuff where I don't have to walk.

I recall Salem, Oregon looking lush and post-card perfect in the Fall.

Fall colors are peaking in central Oregon right now. Here are some shots from this weekend's trip to Clear Lake, Sisters and Bend. It's stunningly gorgeous right now. The quaking aspens along along the Deschutes are incredible as are the maples along rivers and lakes.

Derek, it appears that you are also quite a good photographer. Beautiful. Of course, if I drive down the main drags around my neighborhood within a two mile radius it is absolutely drop dead gorgeous also ...

There are some nice fall colors in Washington Park which is one of Portland's greatest gems. While not peak colors yet, its really beautiful out there. Here's some pics from yesterday. Perfect for a cloud, rainy day.
