Hi We've travelled to this area for over 20 years and stayed in Kissimmee/Davenport/LBV areas. Now considering retiring but could do with some advice on areas that are not so well known to us. We like the look of Minneola/ Groveland but can't really find anything about the neighbourhoods like crime/population/HOA or generally what it's like living there. We want to avoid the I4 as much as possible and have looked at properties in Westwood, Groveland. Anybody help at all? Many thanks

Groveland is pretty rural and a poke to get anywhere from. I prefer Minneola. Both are facing some tax increases over the enxt few years, so beware of that. There really aren't any bad parts of Minneola. It's a nice community, low crime, convenient to all amenities including South Lake Hospital.
