What are some of the funny things you've done due to sleep deprivation?

Last night was an unusually long one in my household. My children played tag team in crying & waking one or the other up in turn.

This morning, I put the coffee grinds in the part where the water is suppose to go...I caught on after 4 scoops

I could not get enough sugar to come out of the shaker for my tea.

Frustrated, I undid the cap and poured it in.

Then took a deep gulp of tea and pepper!!!

At my son's open house recently, I asked him where his younger brother was, because I thought he was walking in front of us and went into a classroom....umm, I was holding him! Yikes--talk about a glass-on-your-head syndrome!

These are all funny! I know that I also used some Aveda hair stick as deodorant once.A not so funny thing was running errands with my 3 week old [9 years ago now so I can laugh!] and I stopped to mail something.I wanted to make sure that no one would come to the car and snatch the baby while I ran to the mailbox,so I locked the car.The only problem was the car was running, with the keys in it! I ran around freaking out, knocking on doors until someone brought me out their cell phone.Luckily my husband was home and came within 10 minutes.By then of course the baby was hungry, crying, thank God it was Fall so it was not too hot outside. As it was I felt like the worst, most stupid Mom ever! But, it was diffinately lack of sleep and not thinking clearly!

I forgot to rinse the conditioner out of my hair. I was on my way to a family gathering and had just gotten this "wash and go" hair style. It worked really well at the time... my hair had less curl before the birth of my youngest, just a lot of waves. Well, when we got there, I realized my hair still wasn't dry. I went to the bathroom and my hair looked and felt a little greasy. My grandmother was yelling for me to come in the front room for family pictures. No time to rinse out then.

Very embarassing. I do NOT have copies of that family photo in my home.

Heh... I have 7 months old twins so I am used to sleep dep!
Some of the things I have done:
- called my husband by the cat's name
- Put my keys in the fridge
- put trousers on backwards and then couldn't figure out what was wrong...
- sprinkle salt on my middle-of-the-night cereal
