EVOO is exta vergin olive oil. I am an avid Rachel Ray watcher, that's one of her sayings.

If you all lived in Vancouver BC you would be welcome here for a feast! Cooking for 5 is getting boring!

I would like one of those sealer things you have all been talking about. I don't think we have them here in Canada. Can anyone give me a link to check it out? I go across the border on day trips a lot so maybe would pick one up. I love kitchen gadgets!! (Yes I know, I need to get out more!)

Hey, I used to live in Vancouver, Washington...do I get points for that? I have some good friends who live up in Ft. St. Johns, BC. He's a children's pastor at a big church there.

Skoe, my family is in Canada (that's where I'm from) and I know my aunt has talked about having one of those sealers. I'll have to ask her where she got it?

Hoosier Guy,

i too am an on the go professional stay at home dad, I cook everything from scratch, no processed foods and do it in no time at all, just have to be prepared with quick healthy meals, no french cookery.

good luck mate

I am gullah geechie so most of our food is rice, fish and veggie based so a paella is one of my favorites but i make it for the family on a sunday or an Arroz Con Pollo, or a Curry
