Got a sunpass pro for my car and my son drove thru OH and the sunpass flashed 'low funds' after I put 200.00 on it.
Do I need to add funds in the sunpass account then transfer it into tolls? Confusing site....
But, DOES the sunpass PRO work across USA or should I get Ezpass?

I'm hoping someone will provide an answer so I dont have to go to the web site...I HATE gov't web sites because they are notoriously horrific. Try to go to Florida's DOT web site to check on current conditions... Not nearly as easy as it should be.

Anotehr ? I have is do I have to affix the device to my car permannently, or can I take it w/ me to use on a rental car up North when I go on a trip to Cape Cod, or CT, or RI? I know Mass has lots of tolls from when I was there 4 yrs ago, & CT charges on 395 & 95. I didnt encounter many in RI, just tolls to cross bridges.

Sunpass pro is portable, but you should go into the webpage and add the rental. The Sunpass site is super easy.

Sunpass Pro is accepted everywhere EZpass is, but only on East coast states and a few midwest states. There is really no way to answer your question regarding payment without knowing how you added it. You need to check the value on the transponder. I attach a cc to each transponder
