I am looking for anyone who knew Edward W and Nelle Phelan from Pulaski County AR, Little Rock. I am also looking for any relatives of the above. Both are deceased.

There are many Phelans in Little Rock and Hot Spring County. There is an Edward Phelan at 501-664-3069. He may have a connection to your Edward. You may go to the "411" Web Site and get the #s of the many others.

OK, his full name is Edward Wilson Phelan Sr., born 10 Aug 1924 in New York and died 24 Jan 1999. He was a GM3 in the US Navy, WWII and is buried in Little Rock National Cemetary sec 22, site 622.

Her full name is Nelle Irene Phelan, Jun 18, 1931 - 26 Mar 2009. She obtained her SS card in Mississippi, so she may have been born there. She is also listed as Nelle A Phelan, so her maiden name might begin with "A". I haven't found much on her.

According to a family tree on Ancestry.com there was a wife named Bonnie Kate Douglas, 1925-1980, and they have 3 living children, 2 girls and a boy. You can assume the boy is Edward Wilson Phelan Jr. No mention is made of Nelle.

The username of the owner of the tree is Bradephelan. Searching for Brad Phelan I found a Bradley E. Phelan, age 26, formerly of Bartlett, TN. His relatives are Kelley L. Phelan and Edward W. Phelan, age 60. We can conclude Edward W is the son of Edward Sr, and Brad is the grandson. Here is his contact info:

A little late on the conversation, but I stumbled on this while researching my family tree.

I am the Brad Phelan the last post is referring to (son of Edward Wilson Phelan, Jr., grandson of EWPhelan Sr. from Pulaski County).

I don't have the power to edit an old post, but I sent a request to katzenfreund to remove your info. Since I don't know who's on duty today, if it doesn't dissappear within a day you can send a direct message to either mod, katzenfreund or 7th_generation, and ask again.

I understand you wanting it removed, but just so you know, your info was already online for anyone to see. It's listed in the many online phonebook whitepages.
