Just a suggestion. If possible, leave your car with a trusted source in AL, and get a feel for the city and your commute in DE first, then you should be able to have a bit more of an idea if you'd really like to have it with you while you live here. Also, with it being a "Top 5" walkable, it's still pretty big and there's more to the entirety of the city outside of the center of it. You may want to venture out to other places, and while SEPTA is an option it can be quite annoying most of the time, and imperfect weather patterns only add to that. You'll probably miss your car during those times. (Just a suggestion., based on personal experience.)
