Does anyone know of any cool flea markets or farmers markets? Any kind of indoor or outdoor set-up with a bunch of different merchant tables. Particularly in the Scottsdale area.

Thanks!

The Mesa Market is always a good time. A little bit of a drive, but worth the trip. Mesamarketplace.com

Every Saturday there's a market at Central & Northern in Phoenix. There used to be one on Saturday as well on Shea near 96th St in Scottsdale. Have not been in that area in over a year so I can't confirm if it still happens.

Scottsdale Downtown's Old Town Farmers' Market in Scottsdale, Arizona

will start up again in late October...a bit upscale, but it's been going for a while and has a nice variety

I know its further than you probably want to go but Payson has a great farmers market. I think it's every saturday and they've got amazing food!

If you're ever looking for a weekend trip you should trek up to Payson, spend the night on Friday, have breakfast at the airport, and then swing by the farmers market before heading back to the valley. It's a fun trip!

Will this be a little bit too hot in the summer, or it's ok anytime of the day?

Yeah, it's hot but go early in the morning and it's not bad at all. They have misters going most of the time and that helps.
