I don't know much about photography, just enjoy photos others take, but have to say yours are always amazing. Is there something particular about your camera that allows you to get such vivid photos and so close up? Thanks for posting.

Thanks. The lenses. I'm using a zoom lens with extension tubes. Doesn't allow you to get as close as with a full macro. But it allows the zoom lens to get closer.

I'm also using software equivalent to PhotoShop. Mostly to "Crop". In the full butterfly pic above the butterfly takes up about 1/4 the height. Good software allows you to show what matters. Of course the pic itself has to be good enough to allow that.
