This morning the temp in my room was 63F. Only two seasons here, summer and winter.

Do we have a unusually early winter this year?

Yes. Its been below average by almost 10 degrees lately, and it sucks. Im all for cooler weather, but going from shorts and flip flops to jackets and shoes almost overnight is ridiculous. I think we had our a/c off for a week before we had to put the heat on at night. This morning was in the 30s in Scottsdale. Lets just be thankful we're not up in Flagstaff where the temp this morning was an Arctic-like 9 degrees. I have a feeling we're in for a cold, and potentially wet, winter.

Flagstaff has been known to dip below zero in the right circumstances.

Its only November, and theyre already close to being at 0. With the right amount of wind, that windchill could easily have been below 0 this morning. Brrrrrrrrrrrrr.

It's not winter yet. This is an unseasonably cool spell in early fall. It will be in the high 70's to 80 in a couple of days. All the whining about little blips in the weather on this forum really is amusing. Calling the rapid change "ridiculous"??? It happens. Here, and other places. I'll bet it's happened here before. It really is nothing to make a big deal about... or start yet another thread about.

Seriously, that's just wrong. Have you gone outside at all?

I turned my heat on Sunday and worked from home today bundled in a jacket with a scarf around my neck.
I keep the house at 69 during the day. Might need to bump that up.

No coat, no heater, still wearing shorts, no big deal...

Love the change.

My house is so well insulated it stays around 78 without a heater so I'm just enjoying the low bills right now. I'm a little chilly when out at night but worth the savings.

I feel bad for those of you who have to already turn on the heat. I have an electric fireplace and when it gets cold enough in the morning I use that for about an hour and it's enough. I can't imagine using the regular heater already, yikes.

Yup it's right around that range where it's warmer than comfortable for me .. about 78 degrees. I SO live in the wrong freaking place.
