Colangelo had it right when he moved the Suns from the Coliseum to where they are now, and helped establish one of the most admired NBA teams in the nation at the time. He also had it right when he invested in what is now Chase Field & brought in the DBacks, which were also a dream team for a brief while. Flash forward 20+ years later, and the Suns have a horrible owner who would rather leave than make the needed improvements. DBacks would rather move out of Chase Field than fork over the money themselves to make the needed upgrades.

You're absolutely correct that the Coyotes are in a terrible location ... I've said this all along. This goes back to my point that pro sports, and the bulk of entertainment & corporations belong downtown. Your dream of adding more residents & liveliness to the central core will never become a true realty without things like corporate business, entertainment, and sports because they are major contributors to spurring development and bringing in revenue. Phoenix is too large of a city to continue with all this small thinking. We seriously need to grow up and act our size.
Type, it should have said you "won't" that should've been obvious from the rest of what I typed.
