This weather is trash and I want it to be stormy again. I miss the rain. Nature had me all hyped up and excited not too long ago and it has gone back to the norm. Monsoon season is my favorite time of the year and it seems to be getting weaker each year and it frustrates me. (Actually second favorite time of the year, when we get rain in the winter is even better). We need the rain, we are parched!

I like this drying trend this week! It's easy to get spoiled on that sub 10% humidity. But after those 60 degree DP's last week, I won't complain about 18% humidity!

El Nino fails to deliver over the winter and manages to screw up the monsoon too.

I know exactly how you feel...this time of year I get so excited to monitor the weather and wait for the storms, it's so exciting when you have a lot of moisture and can see the clouds building and wondering if it's going to rain. But, the nature of monsoon is a lot of disappointments for every success, lots of nothing days for every lightning show and thundering, soaking rain.

I think that's why the Phoenix forum is so into weather ... when something is scarce, it becomes more valued. Absence makes the heart grow fonder and that seems to be the case for many of us when it comes to the rainstorms. If we lived in the southeast where it storms all the time practically like clockwork, we'd probably not enjoy it or value it as much. At least that's my take on it.

I am loving this return to dry season weather myself, I don't like the monsoon, I wish our whole summer was like June
