Don't forget that often the light was burned out! Brothers can come in handy sometimes!

As to the pumps being 'far away' from the store, well yeah, asshats are gonna pump then leave their vehicles to shop and tinkle. Non asshats will move to a parking space. I can count on one finger the times I wasn't able to find a spot. It was at the New Braunfels, TX location on a summer holiday weekend. Many visits to multiple locations over several years.

If you like Buccee's that's great, but I just don't care for glorified gas stations.

Buc-ees has a huge following. Definitely not your average convenience store. Travelers love them, super clean bathrooms and almost anything you need while on the road. I know people who do a lot of their stocking stuffer christmas shopping there. Such a large range of goods sold there. Food, baked goods, BBQ, snacks. Even Buc-ees logo clothing - haha. Usually it is hard to even find a parking space and that is something considering how much parking space they have. It’s definitely not for everyone but most people are huge fans here in Texas and among those who are on the road going somewhere. Doesn’t feel at all like a gas station inside.

I don't think anyone is going to force you to go to one.

The approved zoning for this store includes 763 parking spaces.

Nothing in common with a Costco at all but they are a pretty great road stop. This video a couple of years old so salaries may be higher now.

Which puts it into the "it's a small town" category.

Hello Californiaguy2007, I concur with you. This place will be close to where we live but so what? It's not a big deal.

Are people from all over the PHX area going to congregate in Goodyear to get a taste of Buc-ee's? It seems so superficial and kind of dumb. Why the big draw? I don't get it either.
