What about all the 'new celebrities' on Sunset Daze set in Surprise. Has anyone seen that reality show? I wish I could say that it's so bad, it's good...but I can't.

Lots of sports stars live in Ahwatukee. I don't really care much for sports stars or movie stars. I would not cross the street for them. The famous are rarely the significant, and the significant are rarely the famous. The signficant are excellant school teachers and those who "build a better mousetrap."

I'm not sure if she's still living there, but singer Linda Ronstadt lived around Tucson in the 1970s.
Linda Ronstadt was born in Tucson. She graduated high school with some friends of mine. She still lives there...or somewhere in So. AZ. Marty Robbins and Wayne Newton were both born here but I don't think Wayne has a home here anymore. Then there's Glen Campbell. Johnny Carson had a home in Paradise Valley and Nancy Reagans family lived there too. Dick Van Dyke had/has a home in Cave Creek, I think. Tons of celebs live in AZ. In Sedona there are a few too. Linda Carter is one.

I didn't know that. I guess there are now a few vineyards out that way. There are other celebs in Sedona but I can't think of their names at the moment. John McCain has a home in Page Springs too. Is he a celeb?? lol

I don't know if he's even still alive but the actor Dennis O'Connor used to live in Sedona too. He and his wife used to come into a restaurant...the Manzanita...in Cornville when I worked there.

Awww, I'm sorry to hear that. He was such a nice man. He and his wife were 'regulars' at the Manzanita for a long time.

I just remembered another celeb who lived in Sedona...Jane Russell. She lived there a long time and owned a bar/restaurant. My best friend worked for her for quite a while years ago. She still has the letter of recommendation Ms. Russell wrote for her when she left.
