Please read the appropriate DISCUSSION THREAD to be up to date before posting. You may post as many photographs in the discussion thread but the actual contest thread
is limited.
The theme in the "Theme" contest is determined by the winner of the last contest. It is also discussed in the current "Theme Contest" discussion thread. All photographs must have been taken within 30 days of the date you submitted them. The contest will end at the end of the month.
To be able to stay on a monthly schedule, the last day for submitting entry photographs will be five days before the end of the month, ie, if the month ends on the 30th then photos must be submitted no later than the 25th. If the month ends on the 31th then photos must be submitted no later than the 26th. Etc...
(NOTE I HAVE JUST CHANGED THE THREE DAY TO FIVE DAY)
The poll will be opened the day after last day for submitting entry photographs.
One photograph per contest and one vote per member. You may not vote for yourself.

The theme for this contest is: "New Beginnings" which was chosen by last months winner "ReturningWest". "So on to March, it's an interesting month, there are sayings about March...The Ides of March, In like a Lion out like a Lamb (and some years it's the opposite), March winds and April showers Bring forth May flowers . There are also several noted days on the calendar, St. David's Day; a Welsh Saint, Ash Wednesday; the beginning of Lent and a movable feast, St. Patrick's Day; a celebration of the Irish people, Purim; a joyous Jewish holiday, The Vernal Equinox; another movable feast, and in modern times the beginning of Day Light Savings Time."

A couple I know just received a "New Beginning". They just had their debt discharged via bankruptcy. I won't go into how it came to be a necessary action but I'm sure they're happy to get a fresh start!
