I took this photo because it looked like I could walk right through the door into the space beyond, which was of course behind me. It made me think of Alice in Wonderland and her inability to get through the small door into the garden. Then I thought it would be perfect for this contest.
I utilized the following definitions:
1. the act of reflecting or the state of being reflected.
2. an image; representation; counterpart.
3. a fixing of the thoughts on something; careful consideration.
4. a thought occurring in consideration or meditation.
this morning April 23, 2011 was a mind boggling jumble of reflection, rumination, musing and a exercise of lengthy consideration: "what the heck happened to spring?"
Taken on a recent afternoon when the sun was slanting in to the Northwest Passage exhibit's indoor seating area. Some of the lines you see are hand rails that lead down to the glass of the tank. On the nearest sea lion is a reflection of wood from one of the benches. Am not sure what the horizontal lines on the left are a reflection of - a bit of a mystery.
