Just wondering if this theme might end up overlapping with June in you home state?

Ok, then how about beaches? Now I don't consider lakes/rivers/non-oceans beaches, but I guess to be fair, we have to include them all.

Beaches will work. Have some great ones close by.

How about a picnic theme? Just thought I'd put out a suggestion to level the playing field...might be hard for some in land locked areas to get to the water.

The rules of the Theme contest were put forth to me by Alpha. One of the main rules is the winner of the present contest must discuss with the Moderator in private DM's regarding the next theme.
I need to keep the RULES INTACT. Another - Like as stated in the main paragraph: Do not ask your FAMILY or FRIENDS to vote for you. This next theme in question is another. My DM inbox is empty.

I agree. However, looking at the popularity of the new assignment threads (or lack of), technical challenges don't seem to be very intriguing around here. We could certainly use more contributions based on creativity and technicalities instead of opportunities one can get away with just point and shoot.

Az, not sure people really have the same interpretation of a macro so maybe you can elaborate if that ends up being the theme.

Einstein, Bibit and HighLand Lady, Good point!

About the PETS - that's the $64K question I had while judging. Every single PET, even the fish is darn CUTE! LOL! Then what? I voted for double cats - a perfect head/shoulder, gorgeous eyes and I loved the blur white catittute in the background. I've never had a cat in my entire life, I'm a dog person.

My only comment is that some of the Assignments seem more difficult than the monthly contests. Somehow that seems not quite right.
